The webinar will open with a focus session on system design. Michele Musto (TVP Solar) and Dimitris Papageorgiou (THESUS) will introduce the design of Solar District Heating and Cooling (SDHC) systems, followed by Dirk Vanhoudt (VITO), who will present optimal design and routing of district heating networks. The first session will conclude with an interactive Q&A segment.
The second part of the webinar will shift to implementation and operational practice. Dimitris Papageorgiou (THESUS) will present tools and key results from the performance assessment and optimization of SDHC systems. Dirk Vanhoudt will then introduce the STORM controller and discuss its role in operational control of district heating networks. The session will close with a final Q&A and concluding remarks.
